Abstract

This article examines the biological characteristics, chemical composition, medicinal properties, and pharmaceutical prospects of the Ferula plant. Particular attention is paid to the biologically active compounds contained in the plant, including essential oils, terpenoids, coumarins, flavonoids, and resins, which determine its pharmacological activity. The paper also discusses the traditional use of Ferula in folk medicine and its potential applications in the development of modern herbal medicines and pharmaceutical products.
